In 2002 I became the first person to start from the same spot at sea level, bike to both
highest peaks of North and South America (Denali and Aconcagua), and climb them.
Later, in 2010, this feat was repeated in similar fashion by Mark Beaumont
in the BBC program "The Man who cycled the Americas".


The logs and photos of the South America portion are even more severe than
the Alaska portion but are not available online. Please contact me instead.
